With our mild Winter here in Southern Missouri on Table Rock Lake, the fishing has been really good still. With the exception of an occasional cold front, the water temps are still in the upper 40's to 50 or 51. Angler Spy.com has the current lake temps posted on their website.
On the windy days, a crawfish crankbait has been working, either a wiggle wart or the Spro Rock crawler in a light crawdad pattern. The stickbait bite is inconsistent with a lot of sun and calm days and until the shad die off, it will remain that way.
The best bite remains deep from 30' to 45' with spoons or grubs being best. I also use a tube this time of year in a shad color. Sunny days the smoke and on cloudy days something white or white pepper colored.
